We travelled through Flying Foam Passage just out of Dampier. (The name sounds mysterious, but it didn't produce any "flying foam" or whirlpools much to the kids dissatisfaction) to make our way to Pt Samson. It's a relatively narrow passage between ore filled hills either side. Very picturesque.
The boys peeled pistachios for an hour or two which kept them entertained.
